Costa Club Water Polo

During the summer time MC water polo activities are administered by Costa Club Water Polo. Here are a few things you need to know:

All water polo players must be registered for MCHS Summer School through the Manhattan Beach Athletic Foundation--NO EXCEPTIONS!
To register please go to the MBAF website at www.mbathleticfoundation.organd follow the instructions to register for boys or girls water polo. Because of insurance and liability issues, the MBAF says no one will be allowed in the pool unless they are registered for the summer program.

All water polo players participating in the Costa Club Water Polo summer program must be active members of USA Water Polo.

If you need to register or check membershiph status, please go to www.usawaterpolo.org and click on 'Join USA Water Polo' and follow the instructions. The club number for Costa Club Water Polo is #793.

Lastly, we are asking for an additional $200 donation from each water polo player.

MBAF only pays for one coach! This additional $200 helps to compensate our Assistant Coaches for all the time they put in coaching practices. It also pays Coach Reichardt and the Assistant Coaches for their time spent at evening games, at scrimmages and at tournaments. This money also covers the cost of the referees, and all league and/or scrimmage fees. Our summer program only exists if you donate. School and boosters budgets do not and cannot fund thisprogram. If your player participated & you have not made your $200 Costa Club donation, please do so as soon as possible

Please print out the form linked below, fill it out and return it to Diane Winthrop by June 15th with a check for $200 made out to Costa Club Water Polo.
